The city is famous for its marble rocks and is affectionately fostered by mother Narmada River, Well known poet of 10th century Sri Rajashekhara who is the author of Kavymimansa and Bal Ramayan had a close association with Jabalpur. The proposal for organising the Conference has the blessings of Padmbhushan Parampoojya Swami Dr. Satymitranand Ji Giri Bharat Mata Mandir (Haridwar) since the very first World Ramayana Conference in December 2016. PP Baba Kalyandas Ji of Amarkantak is a great source of inspiration for the Conference. Several eminent personalities have also conveyed their blessings for the tradition of Ramayana
